Katrina Shafor (she/her) is an artist, educator, and advocate from Lebanon, Ohio. Her work focuses on recognition and equality in the art world, creating to promote positivity and love, confidence of the being, and acceptance of one's true form. Shafor received her BA in Community Arts and BS in Art Education from Miami University, both regional and main campus, with a certification to teach art K-12 in the state of Ohio (2022). She is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on textiles as a form of information and storytelling.
She has exhibited her work at The Art Academy of Cincinnati, The Fitton Center for Creative Arts, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, and EKU Giles Gallery among many others. Shafor has also been in virtual group shows out of Las Laguna Art Gallery and Woman Made Gallery. She has taught at ArtScape Lebanon, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the University of Cincinnati as a Graduate Student.
